Does the customer need an app?
No. They scan their order QR and open a ticket in their phone’s browser. No download or account needed.
Can customers order food online?
No. Ordering and payment happen at the counter. Orderak lets customers follow that order until it is ready for pickup.
Will alerts work with the page closed?
Sound is not guaranteed when the page is closed or the phone is locked. Customers enable sound and keep the page open. The ready-order display and staff callouts remain the fallback.
What happens if the internet drops?
The last received status stays visible with a disconnected notice. New updates require a connection. Elapsed time alone never means an order is ready.
How does the free trial work?
You can sign in and set up your business now. The planned 30-day trial starts at activation with a payment method, followed by automatic renewal unless cancelled. Trial activation and billing are not open yet; setup does not start your trial or charge you.
